Bull hitch vs Anchor hitch for attaching line to boat anchor

I've been using an anchor (bend) hitch for attaching a line to my 15# anchor. I've just been looking at the bull hitch and it looks like it would be more secure. Do any of you knot experts have an opinion on which would be best? The anchor line would be permanently attached and the area where I anchor gets persistent small wave action. I'd appreciate your thoughts on this question.
