Airtel ownership transfer after registered SIM owner passed away – AP Circle

My Airtel number was registered in my grandmother's name, and I've been using it for 6+ years. She passed away 4 years ago.

Airtel customer care told me Death Certificate + my Aadhaar would be enough to get the same number in my name, but the Airtel store is asking for Family Tree Certificate, Legal Heir Certificate, family Aadhaar copies and notarized NOCs.

Airtel later confirmed by email that Family Tree Certificate is required for AP Circle.

Has anyone in Andhra Pradesh gone through this?

What documents did you actually need, and how did you get the Family Tree/Legal Heir certificate?
