Do Americans actually notice when someone is from another state just from the way they talk or behave?
I live in China, and here people can often guess where someone is from based on their accent, dialect, or small differences in the way they speak. It made me wondered about the US. Do Americans usually notice when someone is from a different state, or are those differences not that obvious?
