VOLUNTEER CALL FOR WELLNESS EXPO IN BROOKLYN

Hi! My name is Leilana and I'm an intern at the Find Community Connection Project, a non profit with bases in NYC. At the Find Community Connection Project, otherwise known as the FCCP, our goal is to educate young individuals between the ages of 14 and 24 on professional mannerisms and provide them with the tools they need to succeed in the professional world.

On August 14th, 2026, we will be hosting our annual free community event known as The RESET: Community Wellness Expo. This expo is meant to focus on the emotional, financial, and physical wellbeing of the participants through a number of workshops. Free food and refreshments will be provided to all participants, along with a raffle (Tickets are $5 each for the raffle, participation is free) The expo will be taking place at the Brooklyn Sports Club at 1540 Van Siclen Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11239 between 11am and 4pm.

In order for this event to run smoothly, we are asking for the support of local volunteers to assist our interns with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Set up
• Tabling
• Guiding Participants
• Food Handling
• Ticket Raffling
• Break down

In addition to volunteers, we ask that you find it in your hearts to possibly donate either physical items such as art supplies, paper, pencils, pens, markers, etc, or monetary support in order to make our event possible. This is not a requirement to volunteer.

If you are interested in volunteering at The RESET: Community Wellness Expo this Friday, August 14th between the times of 11am and 4pm, or alternatively if you are simply interested in attending the event, please contact me, Leilana Delgado-Vera, either through the replies section of this post, through dms, at the company email at fccpstudents@gmail.com , through my work email at delgadowork2@gmail.com , or through my work cell at (1) 332-216-9218.
