Do you think it would've been a good idea for Flash sideways to show the lives off the island?

So like in the question just wondering for characters like Hurley, Ben, Kate, Claire, Sawyer where they are alive for a decent chunk presumably after Jack passes away that it would've added to the emotion or do you like how its more ambiguous. In addition if it showed the moment they or when they finally realize where they are that it gives them glimpses of when they had died? Like with Boone, Shannon, and Charlie where they died way earlier in the timeline?
