Reddit might be the only outbound channel where the lead tells you exactly what they want first

Been thinking about this after trying redseed cold email is basically:find person guess problem interrupt them hope timing is right reddit is the opposite someone literally writes a paragraph explaining the problem, what they’ve tried, what they hate about the current options, sometimes even their budget the annoying part is actually finding those threads before they’re dead that’s mostly what i’ve been using redseed for
not sure i’d even call it lead gen. feels more like catching people with their hand already
raised curious if anyone here has compared reddit leads vs cold outbound quality
