My Take on Shreya’s “I Sorted Things Out With Everyone” Narrative
I’ve been seeing a lot of clips and posts saying that Shreya is being mature, has sorted things out with everyone, and that whatever happened on the show was just part of her “project.”
But honestly, I have a different take.
Whether Shreya wins the show or not, I feel she had to sort things out with everyone after coming out. Because when you’ve said certain things about almost every contestant on the show, you already know that once the show is over, everyone will eventually find out what was said behind their backs. So obviously, making peace afterward was the most practical thing to do. There wasn’t really much of an option.
And yes, I understand the whole “it was my project” explanation. But then why are we still seeing the bitterness afterward?
Especially when clips of her father making unnecessary comments about contestants are being shared, and Shreya and her friends are laughing at or posting these things. If you’ve genuinely sorted everything out and moved on, why keep entertaining content that clearly targets the same people?
That’s where I get confused.
You can absolutely say, “It was a game, I played my part, and now I’ve moved on.” That’s completely fair. But if you’re still indirectly mocking people, laughing at comments about them, or keeping the drama alive, then it does make the whole “I’ve sorted everything out” narrative feel a little performative.
But from what is being shown publicly, I don’t really buy the “everything is sorted and there are no grudges” narrative yet.
Moving on is one thing. Acting like nothing happened while still enjoying the drama around it is another.
