[Event] The Arbor Tourney of 55 AC

4th Moon, 55 AC, The Arbor

A calm spring wind swept along the hills beside Keepsake Hall. Scores of pavilions had ben raised beside its nearby Mirror lake, and as the days progressed yet more were raised, overrunning the lands and making a township out of the Redwyne's favorite estate.

Wooden stands were erected, as were training tilting yards and the main list where the joust would be occurring later that very week.

No man nor woman ever went hungry or thirsty, as the finest vintages of the Arbor were offered freely and freshly prepared breads, meats, and other treats were given without any cost. The point was to prove the fertility of this land Lord Manfryd had carefully cultivated over the last decade. And none could deny the day's events would be splendid.

Although the joust was the main attraction, foreign mummers performed underneath colored tents and pavilions, and some of the most famous lutists and singers had come to serenade the richly dressed and fed crowds.

When the end of the week finally came, hundreds crammed into the large stands and awaited for the first tilt eagerly.
