Cathay Pacific India – How is the ₹10,000 cancellation fee calculated for two passengers?

We’re planning to book a Cathay Pacific Light fare for two passengers as a multi-city itinerary:

Delhi to Tokyo, with a layover in Hong Kong

Osaka to Delhi, with a layover in Hong Kong

Both passengers booked together in a single transaction

The fare page shows a cancellation fee of ₹10,000, as shown in the attached screenshot

If we cancel the entire booking before using any part of the itinerary, what would the total cancellation fee be?

1. ₹10,000 for the complete booking

2. ₹20,000 total — ₹10,000 per passenger

3. ₹40,000 total — ₹10,000 per passenger for each direction

Would the connecting flight sectors through Hong Kong affect this calculation, or is the fee applied only once per passenger for the entire unused ticket?

I’d really appreciate confirmation from someone who has cancelled a similar Cathay Pacific booking originating from India. This will help us decide between the Light and Essential fares.
