Is it worth fighting this speeding ticket?

Need Advice

I was written up for doing 45 in a 30. However, I believe there's no way I was going anything faster than 35ish mph. The cop that pulled me over was at the intersection I was approaching and facing the direction I was turning. Having seen the cop sitting there, I made sure to come to a full and complete stop and to not go fast by looking at my speedometer the whole time until I reached the stop light not too far from where I turned. Over 2min later and after the light turns green the cop comes flying in behind me and pulls me over.

Is there any way to fight this in court? The only evidence I have is my claim that I was staring at my speedometer and was aware the cop was there and knew not to speed. My partner was also in the car in front of me and supports my claim that there's no way I was going 45. Do I take this to court and try to fight the ticket or do I pay it off and attend TSS so it doesn't affect my insurance rates?
