36 [M4F] been a long minute since I’ve bothered with this online thing… tempted to try again

I’ll be upfront. Been at this adultery lifestyle for a good long minute. Kind of in every way shape and form. Short term, long term, or strictly online. And in my experience, keeping things online just never really did much for me. For a number of reasons but mostly because there just was never a light at the end of each tunnel. So just wasn’t for me.

Which is why I kept things to being in person. Now, I’m not some massive sex god picking up all the women from just a glance in their general direction. I’m just saying that some really good luck in the past finding someone that gets it’s. But alas, all good things must come to an end. Or so they say. And it’s been a while since I’ve had someone to chat with and take things further.

Which leads me to why I’m here. About a few weeks ago I was on a work trip. I know, can’t get any more cliche than that. And I met this woman at the local dive bar on my last day there. (You were wrong, the cliches kept coming!) we talked for a good few hours and kept it at just that. Talking. And wow did it feel good to talk to someone like that again.

That’s what I’m looking for. That person who’s down to truly chat about whatever and whenever. Getting to know someone so that you don’t have to think of new things to talk about. You know enough about them that the conversations come naturally. Yeah, sure. I’ll definitely need you to help get me through the work day. And weekends might be a bit tough cause of the families. We know this. But when we do…. It’s like we don’t miss a beat.

So that’s that. And this is me. 6ft tall. Live in California and I’m a bit upset that my giants embarrassed themselves on opening day in front of the baseball world. I’m white and by that I mean a whole bunch of Europeans mixed in me. Dark short hair with some grays coming in and light eyes to match. Light skin that tans/burns easily depending on how much sunscreen I put on. 260 lbs with a beer belly despite not being much of a beer guy. I’ll definitely hold my own when it comes to whiskey though.
