Last round replaced a slightly higher score for handicap...but my handicap went up?

Had a round yesterday that was 1.5 points net better than my current top 8 scores. However my handicap went up by 0.1. The round that was coming off my recent 20 wasn't also part of the 8 rounds impacting my handicap.

How??
