I am still ironing out bugs and usablity for the 3.0 release (which will be the first full release), and want to have some time using it and finding little things so I can get final Apple approval for a full release. Current work is on dev channel for you to try it out.

In that process, I’ve found some optimizations that needed to happen around library scanning, and being more surgical on when to update and not just full library scan, you should see massive reductions in idle usage.

Upgrading, monitoring, episode merging (when TMDB lists a combo episode as individuals, but are usually in one file), and much more data driven and real life testing has lead me to improve this finding, upgrading, and management of titles.

You can also set profiles to have time preferences, so wait for release, to streaming, physical, etc before trying to download. I also added a calendar for monitoring upcoming releases and when it will look to download.

There is also a new download view and manager, because the previous list was really just informational, not functional, I’m happy with this turned out, as simple as the concept is (it just lists entities by parent, and their acquistion tab in a details section). But doing so really helps. It also improves download states, allowing actual manual mapping for downlaods that don’t line up great, and general improved download management.

There are plenty of other smaller things I’ve neglicted to share, but we are getting close to a good release candidate. After that time, I’m open to suggestions, feature requests, and will continue to find ways to improve. Luckily the app scope and function is settling in well to what I am looking for, but am always open to suggestions.
