Had to give the dog a bath right before bedtime because this idiot rolled in something FOUL

Very light vent.

My sweet, beautiful, absolutely dumb-as-a-rock dog loves to roll in the grass. And, more importantly, absolutely nasty things (usually dead birds). Tonight I let her out for the last time before bed, when she suddenly sprinted to the bushes in the far back of my yard. I heard her rustling in the dark, then when I shined my phone light I saw an opossum on the fence.

I walked over to the bushes and I saw she was rolling in the dirt. I don't know what it was, if the opossum was making a nest or took a dump or what, but all I know was she smelled absolutely RANCID when I finally chased her away. She was covered in dirt (at least I hope it was dirt) and I was not going to let her into my room reeking like that.

It is now 11 pm my time, I have work in the morning, and she's fast asleep after having been thoroughly scrubbed and sprayed down, but I feel like there's still a lingering stench.

Oh, how I adore this absolute idiot of a creature.
