Nobody wants to build a story!

This is probably me just venting but it feels like nobody wants to build a story anymore! I used to roleplay a lot when I was younger and it was always based around building a cool story! Living a fantasy we couldn't. Now that I'm of the age and stuff, it just feels like everyone wants to get one off and call it there. I feel longterm partners aren't a thing anymore.

I will admit, there is a pretty good chance my plots and ideas are super trash but I like to imagine they open up to a lot of awesome world building! So why does it feel like every woman I match with finds some way to sexualize EVERYTHING. Like can we just spend some time building a story! I want a reason to be in the story, a problem to solve or an obstacle to overcome. I'm a dude so some action would be awesome. I love doing fight scenes so why are people actively avoiding them?!?! I just want to feel immersed in the world like I used to.

Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places so please, and I am begging you PLEASE, if you know of any good places to meet rp partners who are interested in long term, world building plots. Please let me know, I'm desperate lol
