Confirmation request: Does Krieg's set still drop on Elite difficulty?

I am lvl97 so that's not an issue. 99% of my research says it does still drop on elite, even had AI look into it lol. But after about 30 runs the 1% of posts where people are saying only ultimate is starting to make me wonder. Before I waste any more time, please someone confirm it still drops in elite.

Second question: IF it only drops in ultimate now, is it really expected to play through the main game 3+ times just to start farming end game sets? Because it will just kill my motivation, I just played through the main story on normal then elite over the past couple of weeks, not sure I can do it a 3rd time. Is there something I am missing?

Thanks for the assist!
