Marriage in Heaven

Swedenborg says all souls are created on Earth; no soul is created in the heavens. He also says there's a twin soul for every man and every woman who goes to heaven (he doesn't use this term, but that's the idea).

There's just one problem with this. It assumes men and women are absolutely on the same page regarding spiritual awakening and evolution, which is not possible due to the way society treats different genders.

When men are unproportionally mistreated by society while women are given undeserved privileges, it's expected men will turn to inner riches and spiritual fulfilment more often than women. When a society mistreats women and give privileges to men, you would be right to expect that women in turn will become more evolved spiritually. So, it's a simple problem of math.... It doesn't add up.

This is why men who go to heaven and have not found his love in Earth will be given a spouse that was born already in heaven, and is perfectly suitable for him, like a female version of himself. Simply because no woman who lives or has lived in Earth is perfectly suitable for him. The same thought applies to women who had no suitable partner on Earth.

Besides, he will absolutely know that she's a virgin and has never been touched before, which is the right way things should be.
