Can IELTS scores from two different test sittings be combined?

Have a Question/Advice Needed

Hi everyone,
I am planning to study in Australia. The institution I am applying to states that English-language test results may be completed over multiple sittings of the same test.

My current IELTS Academic scores are:
Listening: 8.5
Reading: 6.0
Writing: 6.5
Speaking: 7.5

If I take another complete IELTS Academic test and receive:
Listening: 6.0
Reading: 7.0
Writing: 7.0
Speaking: 8.0

Can the highest score for each component be combined—Listening 8.5 from my first test and the other three scores from my second test?

I am referring to two complete IELTS test sittings, not IELTS One Skill Retake. Has anyone had their scores accepted this way by an Australian institution?
