1. The first image is from the manhwa Lookism. As you can see after slashing ,the swordman put his sword back into the sheath even though it didnt hit his opponent. Spoil alert: right after that he was defeated by the same opponent because that guy stopped him from drawing the sword again. This, even though seem kinda stupid but understandable cuz he thought he already slashed his opponent and decided to put his sword back in the sheath thinking the fight was ended.

2.ok this is real stupidity. The second image is from the anime demon lord 2099. First, i want to say that i dont watch this anime, only saw it through tiktok and youtube short. But there is one scene about this assistant girl here, she transformed with this tech suit as you can see in the image as a power up to fight the hero. So here's the thing (omg fantastic four reference), after everytime she swing her sword, she put it back into the sheath. Like this is so unnecessary. She was kinda spammed it. So ok i dont watch this anime so will assume that will charge up the power into the sword i think so?.

I kinda did a quick search here so i didnt find the actual example thats actual nonsense. There are so many more like this. overall i just want to say i hate it when they do this. It is unrealistic, too frivolous

I hate it when swordman in anime put their sword back in the sheath even though their opponents isnt defeated yet ( and they spams it )
