Is it too late?

I’m new to the Grateful Dead. I’m 34 years old. Never got to see them or Dead & Company live. I’m a big John Mayer fan and decided to give a listen to Dead & Co this spring and have since fallen in love with The Grateful Dead. I read A Long Strange Trip. I listen to the Sirius station and I’m working my way through all of Dicks Picks. Truly all I’ve listened to for about 6 months now. My only question is is it too late to be getting on the bus? Now that Bob is gone and I likely won’t get to ever see an iteration of the band live now, I just feel like I missed it. But God do I love this band and this music.
