How to know if your appendix burst/is about to burst?

So I was just at home when I suddenly felt this gut wrenching pain (that I've NEVER felt before) on the right side of my stomach and I couldnt move and barely breathed for like 15-20 seconds. Then it just slowly faded away and now I'm sitting here thinking was it just a random stomach bug or is there ANY chance that my appendix is about to burst?? The right side of my stomach did feel tender for a few minutes but now it's back to normal. People who had their appendix burst, please tell me about your experience because I genuinely don't know if I am overreacting 😞😞 I am 15 and I've had a history of digestion related problems if that helps??
