Rear hatch not staying latched

I feel like I’m going nuts. every day the last few days in the morning, I come out and my rear hatch is not closed completely. It’s not visibly open, but the visual on the dash shows it and when I go to feel it it’s barely latched and I have to shut it properly. Doesn’t happen all day until the next morning. Happened the last three nights. I’m going to start locking it overnight to make sure it isn’t a person but it would be odd for it to be people since there’s cash in the car that would’ve easily been found and I forget the keys in the car half the time.
