I finally tried **Schwarzkopf 6-88**, and honestly, I’m really impressed with the colour!

Last picture is 24 hours after the colour
And second picture is 4 weeks

For context: **my hair is not virgin hair**. I’ve coloured it before with Paradyes and other brands, but I have **never bleached my hair**. So my hair is already a little lighter from previous colours, but it has never been bleached.

🍒 **The colour**
The colour is genuinely beautiful. On **lighter brown hair**, I think it would look amazing. If you have very dark hair, the result will be more of a **deep cherry-cola tone** rather than a bright colour.
One thing I really like is how much the colour changes depending on the lighting. It looks **SO good in sunlight/natural light and warm lighting**. Under cool indoor lights, it looks much more subtle.
For me, it ended up being pretty much the exact colour I was looking for.
And the best part? **No bleach needed.** 🙌
Since my hair has been coloured before but never bleached, I was able to use it directly and got a really nice tone. If you have virgin hair, the result will obviously depend on your natural base — especially if your hair is very dark.

🧴 **Application**
Application is super simple. Just follow the instructions on the box. You really don’t need to leave it on for way longer than recommended to get the colour.
I also noticed that it didn’t make my roots noticeably brighter even if I accidentally left some colour around that area for a little longer. Still, I’d recommend avoiding your scalp as much as possible.

💇‍**♀️ How it fe**els
This is another big plus for me.
It **didn’t make my hair nearly as frizzy as Paradyes**. My hair still felt pretty manageable after colouring, and the colour has lasted well so far.
If you’re choosing between this and something like **Paradyes or BBlunt**, I honestly think Schwarzkopf 6-88 is worth trying — especially if you want something affordable and easy to use.

🚿 **The one BIG downside: bleeding**
Okay… this colour bleeds. 😭
For the first **5–6 washes**, I noticed quite a lot of colour coming out. For me, it took around **2.5 weeks** before it completely stopped being a problem.
And when I say it bled, I mean it was giving **crime scene** everywhere I slept. 💀😂
Pillowcases, towels, clothes… everything was under suspicion.
BUT once that initial bleeding period was over, it became much better and the colour looked really nice.

⭐️** Overall: 4.5/**5
**Would I use it again? 100% yes.** I’m actually planning to use it again next month.

**Pros:**
🍒 Beautiful cherry/warm tone
No bleaching needed
Works beautifully on previously coloured, never-bleached hair
Can give a deeper cherry-cola tone on dark hair
Gorgeous in sunlight/natural light
Doesn’t make my hair excessively frizzy
Easy application
Affordable
Good longevity

**Cons:**
🩸 Bleeds quite a lot during the first few washes
Took me around 2.5 weeks to completely stop transferring
Final colour will depend a LOT on your starting hair colour
Overall, I genuinely love it. **Affordable, easy to use, no bleach, and the colour is basically exactly what I wanted.** 🍒

If you’ve been wanting to try this shade but don’t want to bleach your hair first, I’d definitely say it’s worth considering!
