Suctionning

What’s the weirdest patient you’ve ever had so far?? I’ll go first.
Dentist walks out to go do a check up on a patient after the hygienist.
Patient tells me there’s a lot of saliva in her mouth as we’re talking and I’m telling her that I will go and suction it. I ask for her to open her mouth and she doesn’t. So I’m just standing there with the suction open and her telling me she needs it out.
Yk what she does??
She starts putting all of her saliva on top of her lips like if you were going to spit and then she points at her lips for me to suction.
I have no idea why she did that I mean she complicated the heck out of it and she messed me up🤣 never seen that before!!
