Graphic design career

Is 26 too late to jump into the design field ? I came out of uni at 21 and I’ve even travelling on and off for the past 4 ish years and living away.

Now there’s obviously a scare that AI will takeover the industry, I’m not sure what to think tbh

Thoughts and comments would be appreciated
