The concept of suhagraat in arranged marriages is extremely weird, like yarrr, itna bhi kya hai jo aaj ke aaj hi sab niptana hai?? 😭😭

LOOKKKK, even if you fall in love with somebody, you basically take time to get to know them. I’d say anywhere from a week to a month is pretty normal before things get physically intimate (Ps.... after actually getting into a relationship, not while you’re just friends 😭).

And if hookups and all are considered “satire”, isn’t the whole suhagraat concept kinda the same thing??? 😭😭 Like WTF, you barely even know the person and the first thing you’re expected to ask is, “Are you ready?” 😭🤣

At least have some fun, talk, get comfortable, and actually GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER for a week or something 😭 I don’t even know who created this concept, especially in a country where people can be so narrow-minded about this stuff.

Like, a day before is “satire” and a day after is “pavitar” ,,,, even if the two people are internally dead, awkward as hell, and don’t even know how to talk to each other 😭😭
