I've rewritten this post about five times.

Which is probably a fairly accurate introduction to me. I tend to overthink things, analyse them from multiple angles, and then realise that sometimes you just have to press "post". So here goes.

I'm 34, currently residing in Hyderabad. I'm from Odisha, and I'm here with the intention of finding someone where a conversation can eventually turn into something much more meaningful.

I'm a fairly curious person. I can get disproportionately interested in things that most people probably wouldn't think about for more than five minutes. A lot of my interests revolve around environmental policy, data and how large systems actually work. I enjoy understanding complicated problems, breaking them down, arguing with my own assumptions, and occasionally trying to figure out how to make the whole thing work better.

That probably makes me sound extremely serious.

I'm not.

At least I hope not.

I like humour, random conversations, going down completely unnecessary rabbit holes, and the kind of conversations that start with something ordinary and somehow end three hours later somewhere neither person expected.

I'm ambitious about my work and about the kind of life I want to build, but I don't want a relationship where two people become colleagues managing a joint project called "life".

I'd like someone with whom I can be ambitious and completely ordinary.

Someone I can discuss something genuinely important with, but also someone I can sit next to on a lazy Sunday doing absolutely nothing.

Someone who has her own opinions and isn't afraid to disagree with me.

Actually, that's probably important.

I don't need someone who agrees with me all the time. I'd rather be with someone who can say, "No, you're overthinking this," and make me laugh when I'm doing exactly that.

What I'm looking for

I don't have a rigid checklist.

I'm much more interested in how someone thinks, how she treats people, how she communicates when things are difficult, what she values, and what kind of life she wants to create.

I'd like a relationship where both people retain their individuality but genuinely become a team.

And I think being able to talk honestly even when the conversation is uncomfortable is probably one of the most underrated parts of a good relationship.

I'm also not expecting instant chemistry from a paragraph on Reddit. I'd rather have a good conversation first and see where it goes.

If this post resonates with you pls dm
