Seeking US VFX practitioners working in high-end TV / studio features for short anonymized interviews for one of my Uni students on use of Gen AI

Question / Discussion

Hi there, one of my students is writing an MA dissertation around the impact on the VFX workforce of AI. She's researched all the open published work/ trades etc - but I'd be eternally grateful if a handful of practitioners would be willing to talk to her. All interviews can be anonymized and no projects, films or companies will be mentioned. I'm supervising the ethics side so can confirm it's watertight. As well as finding out the truth about workforces reducing from industry insiders, she's very keen to find out about undisclosed use of Gen AI in VFX and whether it's as prevalent as the anecdotes tell us it is. Interviews can be via email or zoom, and everyone is sent their quotes in context to confirm accuracy. Ideally we want to chat to folks who are on bigger budget work across HE TV, studio output and features. Huge thanks in anticipation, she has a hand in at end of August - so if anyone has a few mins between 12th and 24th Aug we'd be eternally grateful x
