Opinions on 2018 skoda kodiaq?

So my dad currently owns a 2021 skoda kushaq (1.0 petrol) which has already done over 100k. He just got an offer for a 2018 skoda kodiaq diesel (idk which model it is but it says 4x4 at the back) for 17 lakhs. Its done over a 100k kilometers so I thought the price tag was a bit too high??

Also my dad regrets his current pick (2021 kushaq). Hasn't had much in terms of repairs or anything but the mileage is really bad, mostly cus of the way he drives (He gets like 9-10 in the city and 14 on the highway). Now the seller did say that the car gives around 14-15 kmpl in the city and around 19-20 kmpl on the highway.
