Is thi $300 Revolve dress overpriced

Hi,

I'm pretty new to the material conversation so sorry if this goes without saying. I heard a lot of things about viscose and how it can be of great quality and worth some $ depending on the manufacturer.

I LOVE this slip dress. Is anybody familiar with the brand Lovers and Friends? Are they good quality and good quality viscose? Does this design, rather simple, come across as overpriced?
