I feel Crimson Desert Open World Area needs more non Human Danger
Right now areas of danger are very concentrated is around mission objective areas, the open world it self is relatively tame.
Considering CD is inspired by many games it should look into games like Dragon Dogma 2 and Witcher 3 and think about adding some more fantasy related threats.
Possibly with the new upcoming expansion, overhauling the base gameworld with new additions as well.
#Night Time Only Monsters
Vampire-esque monsters
Combat style is they use a fade movement to dodge attacks, the only time they can be hit is you stun them with sword shine, or force attack and being weak to fire attacks. This prevents them from doing the fade dodge for a few seconds.
Cliff Spider Ambushers
Nearly invisible and cling along cliff sides they pounce on prey, they are revealed with the shine of the light and weak to lightning style attacks. You can see them grab passing NPCs as they pounce and a horde of them swarm them and eat the bodies.
Grave Snake
Similar to Drill enemy, can dig underground and wrap you. You can hear a faint noise when it is near and ground shakes where it is about to pounce. Has a toxic breath and venomous bite
Undead
Just like beggars they can grab you and hold you, you got to dispatch them quickly and avoid being surrounded .
#All Time Monsters
Ragers
Drugged versions of population which have gone completely insane. They attack without disregard for their life and have heavy knockback attacks which injure them as well.
Sentinels
Forgotten temple guardians which are composed of stone and magic gems. You must target their power weak points to hurt them with standard weapons. They are weak to mining weapons and force attacks temporarily stun them.
Druids
More Animal than human, they have yet to gain true humanity. Cursed creatures which can transform to various animals; Bear \ Wolf \ Eagle. Each transformation causes a large fog cloud to appear which can temporarily blind you.
_ Summary
I think having more unique threats would add a lot of spice to the game. Instead of constantly fighting humans with very similar attacks.
