It was a perfect day in the build up to the monsoon. It rained heavily and people stayed away from the beach. We anyway made plans for the beach and a Redditor told us he wanted to catch us casually to check if we were real. We met this Redditor for lunch, and somewhere between the food and the conversation he said something that stayed with us.

He told us he loved the warmth between us, the easy way we are with each other, and admitted, a little shyly, that he'd never quite let himself live that freely.

That's the part we keep thinking about. Not us, but him. What runs through someone's mind when they see two people completely uninhibited together?

What are the walls he feels he'd have to climb before a moment like that could ever be his? You could see it on his face, that mix of longing and hesitation, the quiet math of wondering what stage of life you have to reach before you stop holding yourself back.

The freedom we have didn't come free either. It's the result of choosing, again and again, never to compromise on how open we are with each other. Life is short, we better live it awesome

And watching someone brush up against that longing in themselves was its own kind of intimate. A reminder of how rare, and how worth it, this way of living is.

When he told us that, we were drunk, and Tia looked into my eyes and started 💋 kissing. Her top came off, and so did my pants. The single guy in the shack, had gone inside the kitchen to check tabs on the order. No one was in the shack. I left my phone at the reception at an angle and took this on a timer to keep a small frame of tge moment.

I am just hoping the hotel CCTV chose to look past a naked couple and a clothed man. TFNMCM of sorts

Would you take this risk, if an opportunity came by? We probably are now a little more bolder than how the day started.

Intimacy and a great lunch the sea
