Never used dating apps before, is it worth trying at 22?
Quick context: I just graduated (btech), 22M. My only real "relationship" was a situationship in first year of college never labeled it, but there was closeness, feelings etc at the time. Ended after a few months itself due to religion differences(I'm Hindu). Haven't dated since. so that was 4 years ago.
I've had interests in ppl and even a few ppl confessed interest since then, but I never acted on any of it, mostly cuz they weren't my type?(My friends told me I should give ppl a chance but at the time, I was only focusing on ppl I develop interest for, not really the ones that come to me first, perhaps that was a mistake from my side, I'm learning), and partly just comfortable being single. I'm genuinely fine on my own, not posting this out of loneliness.
But now that college's done, I feel like I'm at a place where I can have a fresh start, and I keep thinking it'd be nice to actually date someone properly this time, not another undefined situationship. Problem is I've never touched a dating app in my life. Always had the impression they're mostly for hookups or casual stuffs, so for those of you who've actually used Bumble/Hinge/whatever, is it worth it? Has anyone actually found something real on there?
