[Before I forget] Disappearing paper ball

As a teenager I was doing the homework alone at the evening and I left a paper ball on a corner of the living room table. After finishing the homework I went to the sofa and started reading a book about unexplainable events (yeah... I was very scared being home alone but I loved these stories...) and suddenly the paper ball felt to the floor. I just ignored it (although I was a bit nervous being honest) and I thought I will pick it up later.

After my mum arrived home and I finished a chapter I went to pick the paper ball up and realized it just... wasn't on the floor. I searched through every centimeter of the floor, beneath the chairs, on the chairs next to the table, the sofa... EVERYWHERE!!!! It did simply disappear.
