weird behavior of some men - advice needed

Me F33, I noticed that when I make out with a guy at some point during kissing he just stops doing anything with his mouth and just lets his tongue inside my mouth like a dead fish. Why is that?

Why do so many men do this shortly before sex? Is it that they dont want to kiss and just get it on?
