Dangerous Disinformation on Into the Shadows!!!

I couldn't finish watching this one, so I don't know who wrote it, but the Bath Salts episode was terribly researched trash.

"Excited delirium" is presented as a factual medical diagnosis and condition. This is such a dangerous lie for Simon to be promoting! I'm actually apalled. "Excited delirium" is fully debunked pseudoscience invented to legally justify police brutality, especially the murder of Black Americans. It is not simply a synonym for drug-induced psychosis. It's a very loaded term that legalizes killing Black people and this episode is legitimizing and promoting its use.

I know Simon just reads the scripts and its in one ear out the other, but I'm really hoping he sees the comments on this one and takes it down. I get he is all about capitalism and making money, but I don't think he wants to be associated with promoting the murder of Black people. At least, I hope he doesn't.
