[Brick] Balatro on portmaster crashes after it gets patched. Kmulli G2

I am running knulli gladiator 2 on my brick hammer. I download a fresh copy of balatro from portmaster and copy the balatro .exe from steam where I own it.

It launches successfully at first, bringing me to the portmaster patcher cafe screen. It then has me initialize button layout. After button layout, it says "press start to save" which I do.

After it goes to the loading bar. The game attempts to load but crashes back to game list before the bar reaches full. This happens each consecutive attempt. Anyone dealt with this before?
