CS student constantly confused about which career path to choose

I’m a 5th-semester CS student, and I’ve been struggling to figure out which field I actually want to pursue.

For almost 2 years, I’ve been jumping between different areas. Recently I started learning web development, but after a few days I lost interest and started looking into cybersecurity instead.

The same thing keeps happening with different paths. I can’t tell whether I genuinely don’t enjoy these fields or if I’m simply giving up too early when things get difficult.

At this point, I feel like I’m spending more time choosing a path than actually getting good at one.

For those who are already working in tech: How did you figure out which field was right for you? Did you explore multiple areas first, or choose one and stick with it for a few months?

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences and advice.
