Superstar mode: loading screen of death

Is anyone experiencing this glitch/bug where after you have imported your CFB player into madden and completed the combine, you get hit by a never ending loading screen, and has anyone found a way to fix it?

I would hate to break the immersion and create a scratch superstar, and also miss out on the carryover benefits I.e skill points and extra build upgrade points.
