I'm experimenting Pinterest, wondering if anyone here already tried it for organic app growth on long term ?
I’ve been testing Pinterest for almost a month for one of my apps, results so far are definitely not crazy : 8.82k impressions ; 328 engagements (~3.7% engagement rate) ; 4 outbound clicks (~0.05% CTR).
But in less than a month the account seems starting to gain traction and outbound clicks start to increase.
What I find interesting compared to TikTok is how Pinterest accumulate impressions over time. With TikTok I feel like a post either gets pushed or dies pretty quickly. On Pinterest, older pins keep getting impressions and the account slowly compounds.
But the viral potential in Pinterest seems much lower.
I mostly automated pin creation so I don’t really mind keeping it running for a few months to see what happens. I started with 2 pins a day and slowly increase that number.
I'm curious if anyone here has done this for longer?
Did Pinterest eventually start driving meaningful traffic / installs for you, or did you mostly get impressions and saves without much conversion?
