Why does it seem like Eastern cultures have a long tradition of body-mind practices in comparison to Western practices?

Philosophy :snoo_thoughtful:

Yoga, Tai Chi, Reiki, systems like TCM, Auyrveda, Siddha, Chinese Martial arts, Indian Classical dances, Eastern classical music ... they all have a long history, with also a spiritual component. Am I missing the Western equivalent? I have no idea of the equivalent practice that developed in the Western world, though I'm sure many cultures must have had it. Please forgive me if I have made an erroneous generalization or am saying something ignorant
