My 3 month improvement.
Good morning, I am posting my 3 month results from improved diet for whatever use it is to others to see and for feedback if there is any. Overall I'm relatively happy but have a little more work to do.

I am 42 M and have generally been in good shape in my life. Standard story though, my numbers were always good each year until the kids came, then slowly my exercise went away and I started eating worse. Each year my LDL crept up a little and it has been above 140 for a few years in a row. My doctor has been surprisingly unconcerned but after my test last fall I cut out red meat and started running more, which unfortunately didn't do much to my numbers.
I got tested again this spring and after that I got educated more on what foods to avoid and started to be very strict about eating. I tried to cut out most foods with saturated fat, no dairy, baked goods, desserts, chips, etc, to go along with no red meat. I haven't been perfect but it has been a large lifestyle change which I feel is generally sustainable, though I do miss cheese and ice cream. There is one ice cream place around here that sells Temptation soft serve, which is actually a pretty decent alternative with no saturated fat so I've enjoyed that. I have been eating more fiber but I haven't started any psyllium husk or anything like that.
I have another appointment in 2 months so hopefully if I keep up the same lifestyle the numbers will keep going down and my LDL will get under 100.
