Q2 got better. im still not swallowing the breakeven headline whole

Discussion

im long 27 at 2.30 so theres my bias sitting right on the table. Q2 did get better. $178.3m revenue, adjusted EPS of -.07, 1,666 GenDrive deployments, service revenue around $30m at 27% margin & the 2026 growth guide moved up to 15-16%. thats enough improvement to understand why PLUG got repriced after earnings. im still not swallowing the breakeven gross margin headline whole. the 10-Q shows a $15.7m benefit from service loss contracts. $7.5m of that came from a contract termination. SG&A also got a $39.7m recovery on previously impaired assets. the operation improved. the clean run rate just isnt as pretty as the headline. same problem on the other side of the ledger. PLUG had $944.1m left on the ATM at june 30 plus the separate Yorkville SEPA up to $1b. they sold zero shares through either during H1. calling that active dilution right now would be wrong. pretending that much dormant supply doesnt matter would be wrong too. around 7:22 ET the stock was still sitting around 2.40 after closing at 2.11. im not interested in somebody yelling $3 at me. I want to see whether buyers keep paying for the earnings improvement once the easy overnight reaction is over. if this starts coughing the repricing back up without reclaiming it, the read changes with the price. numbers above are straight out of Plugs Aug 10 release & 10-Q.
