A clean Base44 security scan doesn’t prove your users are actually protected

Discussion

I keep seeing people ask if their Base44 app is safe because the built-in checks came back clean.

The problem is most automated scans only check what they know how to see.

They don’t necessarily prove that user A can’t read user B’s data. They don’t understand your business logic. And they can’t prove an admin action is actually protected on the backend.

We had the same problem with our free scanner. It checks the public surface, but I worried people would treat “nothing found” as “safe.”

So I built a self serve Deep Review. The owner proves domain control, signs the exact scope and can run bounded DAST. If the code is available through GitHub, it can also analyse the repo.

No random URL scanning and no manual approval from us.

But is domain ownership enough? What happens with agencies, temporary access, compromised domains or shared Base44 infrastructure?

How could this be abused?
