Idk how should I handle this?

General

So for the context i am single child living with 1 parent lost my father almost 2 years ago. Since then I am working and earning ofc pretty less to manage 2 people's survival but my expenses my education and every single thing is paid by me i earn enough for myself.

Also to note i work in paralegal. Since 1.5 years. Without the degree or the knowledge. Started just to manage legal files and from that to now atleast that capable that I understand agreements and can draft easy ones. And 2 months ago I enrolled myself in 3 years law. As this year I graduated in BBA finance.

So the job i do needs a lot mentally. As earlier i didn't like what I was doing. But I have accepted my fate and hence now I somehow like it. The burnout is real ofc.

But in all these 2 years a 5 year long relationship ended. Then I dated 2 avoidant guys they left me and it was really emotionally heavy. Resulting into me being avoidant towards my mom.

She is going through menopause and I am not at all able to feel or have willingness to even love her or support her emotionally.

As i went through a lot and everything is too emotionally heavy for me. I am not able to be like other daughters who work who support even family emotionally. I have respect for such daughters and women out there. But i can't be and am regretting it a lot.

I hate emotions it ruins me from inside and I fail at work. Being in law it takes a lot of energy of an individual. I have no bandwidth to even invest emotionally. I like to be alone I don't need anyone anymore personally I don't even socialize anymore. Don't even want to date until i come out of this zone. Or atleast till the time I become someone who has love to give.

How do I try to support mom ? Coz she is hurt from me as i don't understand her even after her giving me space and everything from her end.And I can't understand that what do i do or how do i do what should i do to support her.

TLDR:::: I’m a single child supporting myself and my mother after losing my father almost two years ago.

I’ve been working in paralegal for 1.5 years while funding my own education and recently started my 3-year LLB.

The job, studies, grief, and two painful relationships have emotionally drained me.

I’ve become avoidant and withdrawn, even from my mother, who is also going through menopause and feels hurt by my distance.

I respect women who can emotionally support their families, but right now I genuinely don’t have that bandwidth.

I want to understand how I can support my mother without destroying myself emotionally.
