german roaches on my car

the past few days i've noticed roaches emerging ON my car at night. mainly on the roof of my car. i've seen about 2 (on separate occasions) inside my car. my car is kept clean and i actually vacuumed and disinfected about a week before i even noticed the first roach. it's very odd because i inspected the nooks and crannies and haven't see where they're coming from or hiding. i park under a large tree and next to some foliage, and a few feet away from my car is where the dumpsters are. i have an assigned spot and live in an apartment. so far ive placed some traps and gel bait and have been avoiding driving, but i need my car to get to work!

should i reach out to my landlord and ask him to call someone? i'm nervous he'll blame me and put up an argument when i really haven't done anything to cause the issue. and i also want someone to inspect my home to make sure i haven't unknowingly spread the infestation. i asked for a quote from a local business and it's $400 for a one time treatment of both my home and car.
