Contracted hours changing?

Hey all,

Just looking for some advice/answers before I go to management. I have a mental health condition that impacts my work, when I first started I was offered a 35 hour contract, however, mental health has changed etc. Is it possible to request changing my hours? Would this be considered under equality act or will they just be like well you signed up for 35 hours? Looking for any advice
