Is the "M24 SA-S02" worth is as a entry level sniper?

Before anyone says it, Yes I do want to become a sniper as I have always found tactical more slow paced gameplay fun, So is it worth the money or should I look somewhere else, If anyone had recommendations id prefer for them to not be too expensive, thanks all the best!!
