Pet friendly, 3-day hiking routes suggestions?

A friend and I are planning on doing a 3 day hike with camping gear (so no lodges or stuff like that, just tents) and I'm trying to find a 3 day route that is also pet friendly.

Any recommendations of good areas or routes in or around Gauteng (We don't mind driving a few hours to other provinces just no Western Cape it's too far) that would be good experience.

We want to eventually work up for a 5 day and 1 week hike so we feel like a 3 day hike would be perfect. Any recommendations would be great
