MacBook Neo 512gb as a Second Computer

After a little bit of help from the crowd please.

I’m returning to videography freelance after being in house at large companies and agencies for 4.5 years and after a good run of work recently I’m renewing some of my equipment.

One thing I’ve gotten fairly used to while in house is having a laptop for on the go use and I’m looking at picking up a relatively basic one for use while travelling.
For context, I’ve got a pretty solid editing machine in my home office that can chug through any footage I need.

I’m looking at a MacBook Neo for data transfer on site, keeping up with work emails/ calls on the go and client meetings/ presentations. Maybe some light editing/ photo editing while travelling but never a major edit.

What are people’s thoughts on the Neo? I know it’s not super powered but seems to perform well at basic tasks. I know it only has 2 USB ports, I have a decent 4x USB C doc I’ll attached for transferring from cards to drives etc.
